Newgrange is a Celtic style font which takes its name from the Newgrange neolithic site in County Meath in Ireland. It is one of the most fascinating ancient monuments in the British Iseles, older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids.  Stylistically it draws its inspiration from Celtic squared uncial lettering, with the same stone-cut styling found in our Stonecross font, to which it makes an excellent companion piece.

Newgrange is another lost font, like Jessie M. King.  It was originally released in 2006, but only as a special companion font to Stonecross and it then promptly vanished into obscurity.  It deserved better and deserves more attention, so we’re now releasing it as a new featured font in its own right.

Like all uncial fonts it only includes lower case characters, but it has two variant versions of each character.  The demo version only has one character set.

You can try the DEMO version of Newgrange for free. The demo version has a limited version of the character set. Or you can ORDER the full version for only $24.
