Nicholas Cochin was one of the outstanding type designers of
the 18th century, in the transitional period between early era of primitive
wood type and the explosion of innovative type design in the 19th century. Our
new font for this month is based on one of Cochin's text font designs which
has many calligraphic characteristics and an attractive, but antique look. This
is a high-quality text face which is very readable, but a bit more elegant than

We're in the process of upgrading and improving many areas of
