Alphabet Stories

Postby vivid_Kateh » Mon Oct 05, 2009 6:35 pm

Okay, a new game for everyone to try: Alphabet Stories! It's simple enough: make a story with a group using three letters from alphabet per person until the Alphabet is used up. Now, there are some rules involved:

1. You must use a letter in the beginning word of each sentence. You get three letters and three sentences.
2. Follow the order of the alphabet for your letters. Ex. - If the last person made their part of the story with N, O, and P, you must continue with Q, R, and S.
3. Make things as silly as possible. This is meant to be nonsense.
4. At the same time, you have to relate to the story line and use the Character(s) at least once.
5. The start of the story will be with a character's name in the first sentence. The person who starts the whole Alphabet story creates the main character. (I will be first.)
6. When the letters are used up, and the story's unfinished, continue the story in the same letter order until we come to a decent -FIN-. When that happens, a new person can choose the beginning letters and main character name.
7. You can't go two times in a row; give others a chance to play.

Got all that? I'm starting. I'm going to mix it up and start with the letters: J, K, and L.

Story:

Jaeden was a small boy with a simple plan so dastardly, so spiteful, and so cruel, he dare not tell mommy about it.
Killing the family pet would be difficult, yes, but well worth it; it was time to rid the house of that incessant barking that interrupted his nap time.
Laughter echoed through his room as he put crayon to paper to crudely draw out his trap.

-=-x-=-
Now, I have given you the beginning. Go from M, N, and O and draw out the story and the character. How does he do his scheme? Does the pet get brutally butchered or painlessly shot in the head? (Man... That proves I was feeling evil today. xD)

Maybe he should use that old laundry basket in the hallway to capture the mutt.
No; that's a stupid idea and it would probably never work against the thing anyway.
Orange x's marked the paper, bad ideas scribbled out and forgotten.

Perhaps he could beat the nasty mutt to death
Quite a dastardly plan, but no, the family pet had bothered him for far too long
"Rat poison!" The boy exclaimed, knowing the garage had bags full of the deadly substance
Strapped down [to] my bed
Feet cold [and] eyes red
I'm out of my head
Am I alive? Am I dead?

Standing in the garage, searching for the poison, Jaeden stopped.
The dog really wasn't all that bad, but there was that one time...
Uttering many words his parents would never approve of, he continued his search, now angered by his memories.

Very determined, the young boy was, but thoughts of regret entered his memory
"Well, mommy and daddy really love the dog, but...I don't! It WILL die!"
Xylophones, old books, and occasionally food could be found in the garage, but no rat poison could be found
Strapped down [to] my bed
Feet cold [and] eyes red
I'm out of my head
Am I alive? Am I dead?

Yet he stumbled upon something else.
Zeroing in what he desired amongst cans of paint and bottles of cleaning supplies, he finds a poison dogs can't resist.
"Anti-freeze" the bottle's label read.
