Noam Chomsky on 9/11 Truth

9/11 Myths

Those who have read my writing know that I’m no fan of Noam Chomsky’s political views, but I have to admit that there are things about Chomsky which I can’t help but admire. His ability to chop logic and reason things out is undeniable, and his honesty in acknowledging facts which don’t necessarily fit with his anarchosocialist worldview is refreshing.

A case in point is his rational opposition to the “Truther” movement, where he applies simple logic to point out the fundamental illogic of their views. No need to mess with pseudoscience or hypotheticals when the foundational assumptions of the Truthers are so fundamentally irrational. It’s well worth watching Chomsky dissect the movement on video.

One of my favorite phrases from Chomsky comes from his public speeches where he often repeats: “…anyone with a sense of decency…” xyz. Well, no great disappointment could there be than the great professor. His position on 911 truth is stupid, and devoid of any sound review of data. I feel sorry for him. Someone must have gotten to him. He has spent something on the order of 45 years documenting in great detail the psychopathy of American foreign policy, but when that psychopathy becomes directed at the American population as a justification for war, it is now “insane?”. This site’s support of him on this issue is truly indecent. Noam uses no data, and only patented ad hominem attack to further his position — who knows why. His pattern of though suddenly veers from a position completely consistent with his 45 years of research and publication and heads off into a defense of some kind of “decency” that he suddenly finds at the heart of our leadership where his own research has shown it to be missing. WTF??? Anyone with a sense of decency would turn their backs on your web site and Chomsky for this intellectual atrocity. It is sick.

“Someone must have gotten to him”

Typical truther argument. If you can’t dispute someone’s reasoning then he must be one of “them”.

Chomsky has never impressed me as saying anything important or of any relevance. He is nothing more than a mumbling linguist that works on the edge of the Military Industrial complex. As for the Idiotwars site,,,it is pathetic. A bunch of screaming shills shouting down any attempt at rational discourse by anyone enraged by the out of control policies of the CIA. You have to be a complete Axxhole to think the USA does not have whistleblowers neutralized, governments overthrown and patriots executed all for global resource governance.
