New Font – Huyot Art Nouveau Script

Huyot is based on the lettering of George Auriol, the Art Nouveau designer and poet who produced posters and menus for the popular nightclub Le Chat Noir in Paris in the 1890s.

Auriol designed a number of fonts derived from his lettering, but we went to the original hand lettered examples to create a design more true to the Japanese influenced lettering on early poster and playbill designs.  It takes it’s name for Auriol’s original name, Jean-Georges Huyot.

You can try out the free limited feature version of Huyot with our DEMO, and the full version of Huyot is available for purchase on our ORDERING PAGE
