Lemos Marquee is a new font which fits well with our Art Deco Fonts package. It is based on samples of lettering by Pedro de Lemos from the 1920s. It is very reminiscent of lettering in silent films of that era like those found in our Silent Film Fonts Collection. This explains the promotional graphic which is based on the poster for the 1926 release of “Don Juan” starring John Barrymore, with the Lemos Marquee font replacing the original less appropriate lettering.

Lemos Marquee includes a full character set on the lower case, with a decorative variant of the same characters in the upper case positions, plus numbers and punctuation. It is extensively kerned and carefully spaced.

You can try the DEMO version of Lemos Marquee for free. The demo has a limited character set. Or you can ORDER the full version for only $29 and download it right away.
