Freebooter Font

For a recent design project I needed something bold, but with a different kind of look. Modern styles wouldn’t do, but I also didn’t want something too calligraphic. So I designed something a bit new and a bit old at the same time. The result is the new Freebooter font which takes some of the basics of Celtic and Gothic calligraphy and combines them in a modern style, bold title font. It also features a full upper and lower case character set, which is not typical of the calligraphic styles which inspired it, but makes it more useful for modern purposes. I named it Freebooter because of its bold and open style. You can try out the free demo version of Freebooter for either MacOS or Windows, and the full version of Freebooter is available on our Ordering Site.
