Classic Font: Vasilisa

Vasilisa is based on Russian folk art lettering from the pre-revolutionary period. It is included in our original Russian Fonts and Art package. It is very readable in English but also includes elements of Cyrillic lettering. It is evocative of rural Russian life and fits well with the hand crafted peasant wood work of that period. This new version is significantly cleaned up since the original which was released in the early 1990s.

You can try the DEMO version of Vasilisa for free. The demo has a limited character set. Or you can ORDER the full version for only $24.

  1. This piece, with its vibrant amethyst and copper accents on a brown strand of leather, will look stunning with a white,
cream, light blue, or green dress—especially one with a excessive,
open collar to let this work of art shine.

  2. Most designers use embroidery thread in making them however it’s possible you’ll resolve to use hemp.
