It’s been a while since we did any new Art Nouveau or Jugendstil fonts, but we recently hit on a trove of old posters from the 1890s and early 1900s in Germany, including ones with lots of lettering from Munich and Berlin.  Munich Jugendstil is pretty well known, but the impact of French design on Berlin has not been explored as much.

The first of these fonts is Cafe Corso based on a poster for a popular late night restaurant and bar. It’s a great example of Art Nouveau design in the French tradition but with a German Gothic flare to it.

Cafe Corso has a full upper and lower case character set plus numbers punctuation and some unique special decorative characters.

There is no demo version of Cafe Corso, but you can ORDER the full version online for only $29.
