Burnham Font

The Burnham font was designed for a special project, as a logo font for a line of handmade wood cutting boards sold made by Snug the Joiner, the alter ego of our font master Dave Nalle, who finds it relaxing to shape something a bit more physical than font outlines from time to time. Burnham is basically a handwriting font, somewhat reminiscent of our Scrawlies and Rosalinde fonts, but designed to look a bit like it was inscribed with a woodburning tool rather than written in ink. It also has some arts and craftsy features in the letter forms. The result is unusual and more attractive than a typical hand-written font. You can try out the free demo version of Burnham for either MacOS or Windows, and the full version of Burnham is available on our Ordering Site.
