The Book of Kells is the most recognized and most remarkable artifact of medieval Celtic art. It features page after page of lavish, colorful lettering, illumination, decoration and illustration. To a large extent, the great reputation which Celtic art and design have today is based on the exceptional quality of the images found in the Book of Kells. After a long search, we have managed to acquire a legal source for many of the pages and decorative elements from the Book of Kells, using images made in the 19th century, so that we can reproduce them without running into copyright problems. We have digitized these images and are offering them to the public in our new Book of Kells CD package.

Our Book of Kells package includes a number of full pages from the Book of Kells, plus a selection of decorative emblems and borders, and an extensive library of beautifully illuminated initial letters and words. It is a substantial collection, in high-resolution and brilliant color, presented in a manner suitable for web-pages or printed publication design. The images are copyrighted, but are licensed for you to use freely in your designs once you purchase the package. All images are both Macintosh and PC compatible.

Our special Book of Kells collection is currently only available on CD-ROM. The number and high resolution of the images make it impractical to offer this package as an online download. It's just too large. The price for the Book of Kells is only $49, or it can be ordered in combination with our Celtic Fonts & Art CD for a total of $89. You can order by phone using a credit card through our toll-free number at 1-800-797-8973 and get delivery by mail in just a few days. A 'lite' version may be available for online ordering in the near future.
