Katisha is an unusual font based on hand-drawn calligraphy. It's basically an oriental-style font similar to some of our other fonts like Suchow, Yoshitoshi and Satampra. At the same time it's rather different because it also partakes of some qualities of Germanic gothic-style calligraphy, especially in the lowercase characters, like the fonts in our Gothic Fonts package. The combination is unusual and very striking. The name comes from a character in the operetta The Mikado by Gilbert and Sullivan. You can try out the free demo version of Katisha for either MacOS or Windows, and the full version of Katisha is available on our Ordering Site.
